  1. My gums bleed when I brush my teeth. What should I do?
    Gums bleed due to deposits on your teeth. If left in place, it leads to inflammation of the gums. Cleaning of your teeth can bring your gums back to a healthy state. Cleaning should be done by a dental professional every 6 months.
  2. My tooth is broken or chipped. It is not hurting though, should I get it filled?
    A Broken tooth leads to increased accumulation of food particles sticking to it. It may lead to tooth decay & eventually pain/sensation in the tooth. If still left untreated, decay can spread into the roots resulting in throbbing pain & multiple visits to the dentist.
  3. I have pain while chewing. How can I get rid of it?
    Pain on chewing can be related to a crack in the tooth. Small cracks can be treated with a filling. If left for a long time, it may result in the tooth fracturing, requiring complex dental procedures to save the tooth.
  4. My wisdom molars are not coming through. Should I get it checked?
    Yes, definitely. Wisdom molars can often lead to infections & swelling around the corner of the mouth. Eating & swallowing can become difficult in such cases. 18 -25 yr old people are mostly affected by wisdom molar issues. Get it checked before it gives you trouble.
  5. I am in need of lots of dental work. Can I get payment plan?
    Yes! We do offer payment plans for eligible patients. We are more than happy to customise this with you after you have visited the dentist at our practice.
  6. I need lots of dental work. What about taking private health insurance & trying to sort it out with that?
    We are a preferred provider with NIB, HCF, CBHS,, Defence Health, Australian Unity, Frank, GMHBA,, Budget Direct & People Care health funds. Please feel free to ask us if you would like to know more about any of these health funds.
  7. I have got Govt. voucher/form for Dental Treatment. Do you accept this?
    We accept all approved Govt. dental Schemes as part of our community dental responsibility. We accept GDS(blue/grey form), EDS(yellow form), PDS(purple/white form for dentures). Ring us as soon as you have received any of these forms to arrange for a consultation.
  8. I have received a letter from Medicare for my child stating eligibility to get dental treatment under the Child Dental Benefit Scheme. Will I be charged any co payments?
    We will bulk bill if your child is eligible for Child Dental Benefit Scheme. Hence you won’t be out of pocket for your child’s dental treatment if the treatment doesn’t exceed the $1000 over two years. Contact us to discuss this in more detail.
  9. I am afraid of dental treatment and/or I am very nervous about visit to a dentist. How can you help me?
    Our Dentist & staff are trained to provide you with positive dental experience. We also have facility for “Happy Gas” if you would like to get dental treatment in a relaxed manner.
  10. If I ring with a toothache, how long will I have to wait for an appointment?
    If you call us in the morning, we have emergency dental spots for these specific concerns. If that spot is taken, we will find an appointment for you the following day.
